Dear colleagues,

ECDC is looking for tenderers to our newly published “Emergency preparedness and response (EPR) trainings for workforce capacity building” framework contract.

We would greatly appreciate if you could share this information with your networks, to ensure maximum visibility of this opportunity.

This call for tenders aims at developing and delivering an EPR specialised training programme. The scope of this call is:

1. The development and implementation of an EPR training programme including:

• The development of the curriculum of the EPR training programme, based on the ECDC preparedness cycle;
• The development of training material to deliver the training curriculum;
• The delivery of the training session(s) including assessments and evaluations over the duration of the FWC;
• The update of the training material considering the assessments, evaluations and contextual changes (e.g., impactful events that call for an update of the training such as pandemics, wars, or a fast progression of the climate change emergency, among others).

2. The development and implementation of 1-day stand-alone face-to-face EPR workshops. These workshops are to be developed and conducted on an ad-hoc basis, separately and independently from the EPR training programme and are intended to cover specific preparedness topics not covered, or not covered in detail, under the EPR training sessions.

The target audience is on-the-job public health professionals based in public health organisations that have a role in EPR within the EU/EEA Member States and Western Balkans and Türkiye.
